The "Colibri Crique" (Hummingbird Creek) Miniature Goat stud is located in the picturesque Yarramalong Valley on the Central Coast in NSW. Yarramalong is located half-way between Sydney and Newcastle roughly 20 km in-land from Wyong. It is about a 90 minute drive north from Sydney's Northern Suburbs and 1 hour drive from Newcastle.

 I bought the property in 2007 and wanted to keep some goats to help keep the weeds and paddock in shape. I looked at all the types and decided that I like the Nuwby breed with the long ears, dappled colours and good temperament. I bought the two baby Nuwby does and were hooked!

These are the cutest, clever little animals I have seen in a long time. They love the hill behind my house and do their little bit to keep the paddock in shape. I now have a small stud with a buck and a few does.

They get on well with my two dogs, A Jack Russell and a Border Collee cross. They do play a bit rough sometimes and I keep an eye on them when the dogs and goats are together.

My main objective will always be to enjoy these beautiful little goats on my acreage and that objective will not change. In time I will occasionally sell off excess baby goats as they become available.
